Season Information

The club runs practices year round, divided into 3 sessions:

• September - December: Fall Session
• January - April: Winter session
• May - August: Spring/Summer Session

Fees and Registration Options

You may register for either the full season (September–August) or for individual sessions (Fall, Winter, or Spring/Summer). We do not currently offer drop-in registrations.

Fees are pro-rated if a new member registers 3 weeks after a session has started.

CURRENT MEMBERS: TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT PLEASE PRE-REGISTER BY AUGUST 25, 2026. After this date we will open registration to our current members on leave.

The 2026-2027 fees are as follows (including GST and processing fees)

Full-Season Registration

• Pay in two instalments (available to current members if pre-registered by August 31, 2026)
  • September 1, 2026: $715.81
  • February 1, 2027: $552.33
• One payment (available through the Fall 2026 session)
  • September 1, 2026: $1,266.84

Both full-season registration options include the 10% full-season discount, the annual MASBC registration fee, GST, and processing fees.^[1]

Individual Session Registration

• Fall: $486.22 (includes annual MASBC registration fee)^[1]
• Winter: $460.49 (plus annual MASBC fee if this is your first registration of the season)^[1]
• Spring/Summer: $460.49 (plus annual MASBC fee if this is your first registration of the season)^[1]

[1] Annual MASBC Registration Fee: All swimmers must be registered annually with Masters Swimming BC (MASBC), which provides insurance coverage. The 2026–2027 MASBC fee is $25.72 (including the 2.9% processing fee). This fee is charged once per season with a swimmer’s initial registration and is not prorated.

* Note on SwimBC policy changes

Due to SwimBC changes to the masters programs, all club members will be registered with MSABC, which provides the insurance coverage used for our regular organized practices and MSABC-sanctioned meets.

Swim BC registration is optional and is required only for swimmers who plan to enter Swim BC or Swimming Canada-sanctioned competitions. The 2026–27 competitive swimmer fee is $77.25, plus processing fees. Please contact the club registrar to request Swim BC registration.

Most members need only MSABC registration. For now, it is recommended that you only add Swim BC registration when you know that you intend to enter a meet that requires active Swim BC/Swimming Canada registration.

Refund Policy

Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, and we do not issue credit for missed swim practices. Please contact the club for more info about this policy.
